There are many Easter Egg Hunts and activities to be enjoyed by families throughout Northern Michigan each spring.
March is a big month for the ski resorts Up North. Visit Nub's Nob, The Highlands at Harbor Springs, and Boyne Mountain for winter fun!

Mackinac Island Twilight Turtle Trek
A 2-mile, lantern-lit ski and snowshoeing trek through some of Mackinac Island’s natural winter wonderland. Begins at the corner of Arch Rock Road and Huron Road. with a bonfire and hot chocolate. For more information, visit mackinacparks.com.
Hops ‘n Highlands
This annual event includes a beer tasting, live music, ice bar, food trucks, keg bowling, and more. The Highlands- 600 Highland Dr., Harbor Springs.
Carnival Weekend
Three day event with many activities for adults including slush cup, snow beach party, music, and more. Boyne Mountain Resort- 1 Boyne Mountain Rd., Boyne Falls.
Ring in Spring
This weekend long event includes the slush cup, live music, wine tasting, and the chance to ski across the pond. The Highlands- 600 Highland Rd., Harbor Springs.
Mardi Gras
The annual event includes activities and competitions for all ages. Nub’s Nob- 500 Nub’s Nob Rd., Harbor Springs.
Leapin’ Leprechaun 5k
Proceeds from the race are being donated to the Munson Medical Center’s new Family Birth and Children’s Center. Along with the race, there will also be a costume contest. The race will start and end right next to Brady’s Bar- 401 S. Union St., Traverse City. Cost is $40 per runner. Register by visiting runsignup.com.

Babies on the Farm
Cuddle baby chicks, baby donkeys, kid goats, baby lambs, young yaks and alpaca. Advanced registration is required by visiting eventbrite.com. Easter Egg Hunt
Children ages 0-8 will have their egg hunt in Washington Park and kids 9 and up will have theirs in Major City Park. All children are encouraged to bring their own Easter baskets to collect eggs. Easter Luncheon & Egg Hunt – Luncheon from 11am-1:30pm. Egg Hunt from 2-3pm. Age groups are: 2 and under, 3-4 years, 5-6 years, and 7-10 years. The hunt will include 4500 prize-filled eggs.
